Great Barrier Reef
If you love to travel, and if you even spend most of days at home day dreaming about seeing the wonderful sights this world has to offer, this article is for you. Here are my pick for the top 5 must visit locations in the world. Enjoy!

Uluru Sun Set Australia
Uluru
You may know it as Ayers Rock, it is an ancient and sacred landmark in the Australian outback, made from sandstone and standing 350 meters above the otherwise flat desert it is a sight that cannot truly be described, and even photos fail to do it justice. The best thing about Uluru is that it appears to actually change color throughout the day, even glowing red in the sunset.

Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu
This ancient Incan temple is built on top of a mountain with stunning views of the Urumbamba valley. The location itself is equally as stunning as the temple that rests atop it and it hard to really know which of the two you are going to see. It’s not easy to get to, but over 400 tourists every day make it there to explore the ruins and perhaps hike up the worlds famous Inca trails.

Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls
Most people think of Africa as being flat and covered in desert, but there are also some areas of stunning mountains and lush green forests. Victoria falls cuts its way through such a stunning landscape. Taking a helicopter flight over the falls is highly recommended if you have the means, as this gives you an unparalleled view of the falls from above. Alternatively, if you visit between September and December you might like to have a go in the Devils pool at the edge of the falls.

Matterhorn
Matterhorn
The Matterhorn in Switzerland is not the highest peak in the world but it might just be one of the most distinctive. It has 4 faces all very steep and it rises to a sharp pinnacle. From the town of Zermatt it makes a wonderfully formidable view and is sure to inspire.
Great Barrier Reef
Great Barrier Reef
You already know what this is don’t you? The great barrier reef is certainly the most famous landmark on this list, and possibly the most beautiful . It is the largest single structure in existence which was created of living organisms and holds host to a dizzying number of varied marine creatures. This is a top location for scuba divers especially.

Not sure about the helicopter suggestion? why not try having a flying experience at home to get a taste before venturing out to africa and the victoria falls. Click here for more info about helicopter experiences and other fun things.
